If you are interested in building a camera into a birdbox yourself then this product is for you.
This kit includes everything required to fit the camera into a birdbox and connect it to a television. All that you need to do is fit the camera into the box and attach the cables.
Kit Contents:
- Infrared Camera with Built-in Microphone
Choice of Black and White or Colour
UK PAL system 350 line definition 1/3" OmniVision CMOS with PAL output
B&W Camera Dimensions: 30x30x20mm, the lens adds 10mm to the depth and the positionable stand adds about 10mm
Colour Camera Dimensions:38x26x14mm, the lens adds 15mm to the depth and the positionable stand adds about 10mm.

to attach the camera to the box

The bird box in the kit is optional. If you already have or wish to build your own box then you can choose this kit without a box (KIT1 or KIT3).
Our bird boxes are supplied ready-built.
Please note that the colour camera requires a light environment to work in colour mode. When there is not enough light it will switch to infrared mode, which produces black and white images. A closed birdbox is normally quite dark, which is why our product KIT4 is supplied with a plastic window in the lid of the birdbox - as shown in the photographs to the right.
